Dr. Gurneen Sidhu – Dentist
I grew up in the Maritimes and always loved school. I actually entered the profession quite young being one of the youngest in my class (Dalhousie Dentistry 1996!) to graduate.  I moved to Ottawa from my hometown in Dartmouth N.S.and spent the next 15 years practicing as an associate dentist. Aside from family dentistry, I have also had the opportunity to work for the city of Ottawa’s dental clinics, provide dental service to retirement homes, work as a clinical instructor in Algonquin’s hygiene program, and work for the Royal College of Dental Surgeons where I presently hold a committee position.

Dr. Keith Josephson – Dentist
Keith grew up in Newfoundland before moving away to do his undergraduate degree at Mount Allison University (2001) in New Brunswick. Following this, Keith completed his dentistry degree at Dalhousie University (2005) in Nova Scotia. After graduation Keith went on to do a general practice residency in Vancouver, BC where he gained some extra experience in all facets of dentistry, but with an emphasis on oral surgery. Once this program was complete, Keith stayed in BC and practised there up until June of 2013, at which time he moved to Ottawa with his wife and twin two-year-old daughters. Keith’s philosophy around dentistry is to emphasize communication with patients and ensure that people play an active role in making informed decisions about their care. When Keith isn’t practising dentistry, he enjoys mountain biking, running, skiing, catching live music whenever he can, and spending time with his wife and daughters. He also used to be an avid rugby player and played provincially for his home province of Newfoundland prior to dislocating his shoulder twice during dental school.
Dr. Debbie Waite – Dentist
Debbie opened this practice in 1997 and it has developed into a cornerstone of the Centrepointe community. A University of Alberta graduate, she always cared for patients with her own special blend of care, attention and patience. Over the years her patients have become her friends and it is for this she feels most fortunate. Debbie has recently retired from practicing dentistry. We will miss her but wish her all the luck in her new adventures, surely of which, there are many!
Heidi – Registered Dental Hygienist
Hello, my name is Heidi. I have been a Regisitered Dental Hygienist for 23 years. One of the reasons I chose this profession was because of the wonderful care I received from a dentist as a teenager. I had moved to the Arnprior area with my family from England. Let me say my dental treatment prior to that time was less than pleasant. I know what it is like to be afraid and hope to make my patients as relaxed and comfortable as possible.I commute in from Constance Bay where I live with my husband John, our wonderful/energetic children Jordan and Deena and our adorable dog Snickers. When we are not at the soccer fields, hockey rinks or ski hills we are busy in the garden or out enjoying long walks in the forest behind our house.
Janet – Registered Dental Hygenist
I graduated from the Algonquin College Dental Hygiene Program in 1991. I worked as a Dental Assistant for three years before that. I am very happy to return to the profession, and Dentistry on Centrepointe, after being on an extended maternity leave. Much of my time is spent getting the family to and from their activities, but I also volunteer on the parent councils of my daughter’s schools and at our church. When I’m not on the soccer field, the ice rink or the volleyball court, I can be found hanging out in the neighbourhood as I am a longtime Centrepointe resident as well. I look forward to providing you with competent, personalized dental care and wish you a lifetime of oral health.
Meghan – Dental Assistant
My name is Meghan. I grew up in the small town of Kemptville and have since moved into Nepean. I love to play and coach hockey through the winter and I enjoy playing soccer through the summer.I received my certification and graduated from Durham College in 2009. I’m fortunate to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are proud of the education and services we offer our clients.
Nicole – Dental Assistant
I was born and raised in Prince Edward County, Ontario, close to the small town of Picton. My post-secondary schooling brought me to the Ottawa area where I decided to study at Algonquin College. First, I took the Pre-Health Science Program as an introduction to the college life. During that year I lived in residence at the college and made new friends and many great memories. Once completing that program, I decided to take the Dental Assisting (Levels I &II) Program. After graduating from Dental Assisting in 2008, I decided that Ottawa was the place for me and decided to stay permanently.
